Terms & Licence

These terms form the agreement between you and Mohammed Farooque (the "Developer") for the use of Schedulytics software — Progress Schedulytics, Baseline Schedulytics and any further tools published under the Schedulytics name (the "Software") — and for the use of this website.

1. Evaluation and trial licence

• You are granted a free 30-day evaluation licence, starting from first run.
• During the trial, generated reports carry an evaluation watermark (EVALUATION TRIAL VERSION / TRIAL EVALUATION — UNLICENSED COPY).
• After 30 days the Software locks report generation until a valid, cryptographically signed licence is present.
• The trial is complete in features — nothing is withheld to force a purchase.

2. Commercial licence

• Purchase grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Software.
• Licences are node-locked — bound cryptographically to a device identifier (a hardware fingerprint on Windows, the Android ID on Android).
• A single licence key may be activated on up to two devices, allowing one desktop plus one mobile device where a mobile version exists for that product.
• The licence is perpetual for the major version purchased. It is not a subscription and does not expire.
• Licences are issued to a person or organisation and may not be resold, sublicensed, shared or transferred.

3. Permitted and prohibited use

You may use the Software on your own commercial projects, and freely distribute the reports it generates to clients, employers and third parties. Generated output belongs to you.

You may not:

• reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software;
• circumvent, disable or tamper with licensing, watermarking or activation;
• redistribute, resell, rent, lease or host the Software as a service;
• share a licence key beyond the permitted device count.

4. Purchases, refunds and support

If the Software does not work as described, contact the Developer first — most problems are resolved directly. Promotional pricing and bundle offers are limited-time and may be changed or withdrawn at any time; the price shown at checkout is the price that applies.

5. Intellectual property

• The Software is licensed, not sold. Mohammed Farooque retains all intellectual property rights, title and interest in it, including its algorithms, data structures, report layouts and templates.
• The Software is protected by copyright law and international treaty provisions.
• Your project data and your generated reports are yours. The Developer claims no ownership of, and has no access to, either.

6. Trademarks and third-party rights

• Oracle®, Primavera® and P6® are trademarks or registered trademarks of Oracle Corporation and/or its affiliates.
• Those names appear on this website and in the Software solely to describe compatibility — that is, to state truthfully which file formats the Software reads. This is nominative use. No claim of association, endorsement, certification or partnership is made or implied.
• The Software contains, bundles and redistributes no Oracle software or code. It reads standard export files (XML / XER) that you have produced from, and are licensed to use with, your own Primavera P6 installation.
• You remain responsible for holding a valid licence for any Oracle product you use to produce those export files.
• Microsoft® and Windows® are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. Android™ and Google Play™ are trademarks of Google LLC. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

7. No professional advice

The Software performs schedule and cost analysis and produces reports, forecasts and risk figures from data you supply. Its output is an analytical aid, not professional, legal, contractual or financial advice, and it does not replace the judgement of a qualified planning, engineering or claims professional. Decisions taken on the basis of its output remain yours. Accuracy of output depends on the accuracy and completeness of the data you provide.

8. Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "WITH ALL FAULTS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER — INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS INFORMATION, WORK STOPPAGE OR ANY OTHER PECUNIARY LOSS — ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated; the effective date above will change and the revised version will be published at this address. The terms in force at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.
